Recycling
In Breckenridge, yard
waste (grass, leaves) must be hauled to collection sites located at
5th Street South and Wisconsin Avenue (across the street from Breck
Amoco) or the Wilkin County Recycling Center located at 505 S 8th
St. in Breckenridge. Please access the facility from Hwy 75 & 7th
St. S. The facility is open Tuesdays and Thursdays 10 am to 6
pm and Saturdays from 8 am to 2 pm. Trees and branches will be
accepted for disposal at the Old Breckenridge Landfill site.
Hours are from 5 pm to 8 pm. Contact the Wilkin County
Environmental office to find out which dates the landfill is open at
218-643-5815.
In Wahpeton, brush/trees--Haul to city incinerator site.
